Key Reasons to Study American Medicine in the Caribbean islands, Central America & Philippines:

Medicine has never been a 5 Year program where a student graduates with the MBBS or equivalent Degree to settle in his / her career. It involves a long and tedious academic process where he / she should pursue a recognized Higher Education program and Specialize in their field of Interest. This involves a rigorous.

  • Academic commitment from the students' end
  • Proper support service from the Institution
  • Advancement in the Curriculum followed by the institution
  • Availability of Opportunities for further excellence in his / her Career

Unfortunately though, majority of the Destinations for Medical Education whether in India or Abroad do not fulfill all these necessary needs of the students. Students studying in India are nowadays not provided necessary clearances by the Government departments to allow them to pursue Higher Education in developed countries, whereas students studying in countries like Russia, China, Ukraine, etc have only one option after their education – Come Back to India for MCI Screening Test / FMG Examination in which the passing percentage is too low for such graduates.

In India, a country where over 63,000 seats are available for the Under Graduate MBBS Program, a very few thousands of Postgraduate seats are available. It is estimated that by early 2020s, at least 5 Lakh Doctors will be appearing for the NEET PG entrance examinations every year, whereas there are only 14,000 PG seats are available for them to be placed. Further, PG degrees issued in India is not recognized as a valid qualification in most of the foreign countries.

Post Graduate qualifications of only five English Speaking First World nations namely USA, Canada, UK, Australia and New Zealand are accredited by WHO and are recognized globally. Also, these countries have comparatively more seats in their PG programs than in the UG programs (Almost double the numbers) meaning gaining admissions into a PG program in these countries is comparatively easier than in India and these qualifications are globally recognized too.

Also, these PG degrees are awarded at a "Zero Cost" as there is NO TUITION or OTHER FEE AT ALL and students also earn a very attractive stipend during the PG program as it is a work based study program.

Hence we suggest a holistic program in select top institutions where students pursue Medicine program in US Curriculum along with intensive preparation for USMLE and other licensure examination of developed countries of USA, Canada, UK, Australia or New Zealand and continue to pursue their Education in those countries.
